Day 37

First time readers, welcome. I post something new every morning. When I started writing my book, I discovered a million things to do that, with all good intentions of course, took me away from writing. I needed to get my butt in this chair and start typing; rewriting and rewriting, or my book, 'But We Had Expenses,' would never make it onto the NY Times Bestseller list. After some thought, I created this blog. It's my daily warm up, gets me to the keyboard, gets my fingers going.

But, with all good intentions of course, seems this blogs has gotten out of hand. Long paragraphs, rambling posts, discussions that make sense only to me. It's taking me further away from my ultimate goal.

So from now on, my posts will be shorter, less confusing to a new reader, and more about the daily life of a first time book writer.

Morning ritual: Simply a few deft lines about what's going on with me, and then get down to it with my book. I'll take a few minutes with my FaceBook page, keep that updated, then, start the rewrites. Of course, my morning cup of coffee, need that perk-up, then get to it. Maybe walk over to the Coffee Bean to get the coffee, only three blocks or so, but then, really, get down to....

Good idea to maybe vacuum first, you know, dust in the air, effect my creative thinking...

What do you think? Any suggestions. Thanks for reading. Until tomorrow
